In the period from September 24 to 27, the Final Summit will be held, which will also represent the last, third stage of the Journey program 2020, organized by the Climate-KIC Association. The last week of the first stage of the Journey program passed mainly in the sign of self-organization of participants. The hosts of Belgrade and Timisoara (Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Faculty of Applied Ecology Futura, Metropolitan University and Faculty of Economics and Business Administration from Timisoara) organized on August 4, 2020 last workshop called „Presenting and Telling a Story“, conducted by Milos Dosen, entrepreneur, old-fashioned activist and experienced coach. After four weeks of intense work, participants, coaches and hosts gathered on the Zoom platform to celebrate together the end of the first stage of the Journey program. The coaches of the Climate KIC Association, the League of Epheus and Tony Chung, who accompanied the participants throughout the program, made a retrospective each week individually in a humorous format, using elements of music and performance. After two weeks spent in Limassol, Cyprus, where they had the opportunity to get to know each other and gain basic knowledge about system innovation, the participants of the Journey program virtually moved to Belgrade and Timisoara. After a day of working with local coaches, our participants had the opportunity to learn about the positive aspects of lobbying, as important tools for systemic change. Two ladies from the non-governmental organization Balkan Let’s Get Up, Ljiljana Šotra and Jelena Kodić, brought this concept closer to the participants very efficiently, so they remained for another 45 minutes after the end of the workshop, to answer all the questions.
The third week of the Journey program ended better than expected. In addition to the tools they learned about during the week, on Friday, July 31st, participants were presented with how to write an action plan. The workshop was intensive, but very useful, and was conducted by a great fighter against climate change and the founder of the company One Level Serbia, Djordje Samardzija.
