Professor Dr. Sunčica Vještica hosted a journalist team in a beautiful ambience of the student park, where she gave an interview about the circular economy, its importance for improving the environment, advantages over the classical and established system, as well as the possibility of implementing models through practical projects.
As part of the celebration of the World Environment Day, the results of the competition for the best written essay on the topic “Ecology: occupation of the future!” were published, and the best works were awarded scholarships for education at the undergraduate studies of the Faculty of Futura.
The UN Environment Program (UNEP) marks World Environment Day each year by encouraging governments, companies and NGOs around the world to develop environmental awareness and encourage action to protect the environment.
The theme of this year’s World Environment Day is “Time for Nature” with a special emphasis on emphasizing the importance of the role that nature has in creating the necessary infrastructure that enables life on Earth and the development of humanity.
