V Ecological Academic Camp 2011
“Let’s Save the Danube”
Great War Island

Organized by the Faculty of Applied Ecology “Futura” of Singidunum University, with the support of: Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management – Republic Water Directorate, JKP Zelenilo Belgrade, Municipality of Zemun, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), on the Great War Island In the academic ecological camp under the slogan “Let’s save the Danube”.

The change is from July 30 to August 6 2011.

The thematic lectures of this year’s camp are various aspects of the environment with a special emphasis on the preservation of wetlands and water resources.

The practical work is carried out by the method of workshops, and this year the students will work on the Case Study: Preparation of recommendations and guidelines for the management plan of the protected natural asset -landscape of outstanding features “Great War Island”.

As in previous years, the complete organization of the camp was taken care of by experienced camp leaders:
