FUTURA ORGANIZES ORNITHOLOGICAL CAMP IN PIO OVČAR-KABLAR GORGE – Fakultet za primenjenu ekologiju "Futura"

The Faculty of Applied Ecology Futura is organizing an ornithological camp in the area of exceptional features “Ovčar-kablar gorge”, in the period from 6th to 10th November. The goal of the ornithological camp is the research and monitoring of birds and the improvement of knowledge and awareness about the endangerment and importance of the protection of ornithological fauna. The camp was financially supported by the Tourist Organization of the City of Čačak within the project “Biodiversity Monitoring in PIO Ovčar-kablar gorge.

On Friday, November 8, students of the High School of Economics from Čačak participated in the camp, when they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the techniques of ringing and bird monitoring.
