PROFESSOR VJEŠTICA PARTICIPATED IN THE FOUNDING MEETING OF THE PARLIAMENTARY FORUM FOR SERBIAN ENERGY POLICY

Professor of the Faculty of Applied Ecology Futura, Dr. Sunčica Vještica, participated in the founding meeting of the Parliamentary Forum for Energy Policy of Serbia. The meeting was held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, in the Small Hall of the National Assembly, starting at 12 o’clock. In the previous two convocations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, the Parliamentary Forum for Energy Policy of Serbia was formed, whose members were an informal group of MPs with a similar educational and professional profile and interests. Due to the expressed interest of MPs, Dr. Aleksandra Tomić launched an initiative for the formation of the Parliamentary Forum for Energy Policy of Serbia in this convocation of the National Assembly.

In addition to forming the forum by signing the Decision on Establishment, the rules of operation were determined at the meeting and the president of the Parliamentary Forum for Energy Policy of Serbia was elected. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Zorana Mihajlović, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Mining and Energy, and it was officially opened by the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dačić.
