We are pleased to invite you to the VII scientific national conference with international participation in the field of ecoremediation, ECOREMEDIATION AND ECONOMIC VALORIZATION OF WATER RESOURCES – MODELS AND APPLICATION, that will be held on October 4 and 5, 2018 at the SUPERLAB Institute in Belgrade (Vrčin), Republic of Serbia.

The holder of the organization of the conference is the Faculty for Applied Ecology FUTURA, Singidunum University, in cooperation with the SUPERLAB Institute.

Faculty for Applied Ecology Futura, University Singidunum in Belgrade, last seven years maintained a tradition of organizing scientific conferences in the field of applied ecology and ecosystem engineering.

The focus of this year's conference is on water resources, that is, on ecoremediation and economic valorization of water resources. The focus of the two-day scientific conference will be on ecosystem models and biotechnological innovations for the treatment of used water. The significance of the conference is reflected in the affirmation of innovative (efficient and effective) solutions that have been applied in the protection and improvement of water resources management.

The Conference is conceived as a prototype of a modern and interactive professional event that should become the basis for further development of the field of ecoremediation and water resources management in our country and the region in accordance with international standards. In this context, ECOREMEDIATION AND ECONOMIC VALORIZATION OF WATER RESOURCES - MODELS AND APPLICATIONS should provide participants current scientific and expert knowledge in the field of applied ecology, biotechnology, bioremediation and sustainable water resources management.

The Conference correlates with previously realized scientific meeting organized in 2016 by the Faculty of Applied Ecology Futura INNOVATION MODELS OF ECOSYSTEM ENGINEERING and ECOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL INNOVATION - CHALLENGES OF APPLIED SCIENCES.

In the presence and lectures of eminent experts from higher education and research institutions, and Economy - companies dealing with water treatment, a selection of current topics, with attractive presentation forms such as plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations, workshops for students, at the Conference are expected by over 100 participants, ecologists, engineers, technologists, biotechnologists, chemists, economists, as well as students from all over the country and the region.

The purpose of this event is to connect representatives of the scientific community from the country and abroad, as well as representatives from the economy, non-governmental sector and various state institutions, and to get acquainted with the results of research and innovations in the field of ecoremediation and economic valorization of water resources.

Faculty of Applied Ecology Futura will present the results of the project funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development: "Ecoremediation of degraded areas by the production of agro-energetic crops".
